Ronaldo plays his last game of professional football tonight, donning Brazil's yellow jersey in a friendly against Romania.
Brazil manager Mano Menezes will introduce Ronaldo on the half-hour mark and give the World Cup’s all-time leading goal scorer a 15-minute cameo alongside current Brazilian superstars.
The likes of Pato, Robinho, Ganso, Thiago Silva and Neymar are a generation inspired by the pace, flair and exuberance with which Ronaldo played and they’ll be looking to emulate his many achievements this summer at the Copa America, and on Brazilian soil in 2014.
This film looks at how Ronaldo has changed the face of football by comparing two separate eras – B.R. (Before Ronaldo) and A.R. (After Ronaldo). He has redefined what a centre forward can be. This film is a tribute to his legacy.
