The Demise of Newcastle United

What is going on up north in Newcatle Utd??? I'm actually speechless with the farce that has been going on since the bloody American Mike Ashley bought over the club in recent years. It has been a turmoil ever since. I have huge respect for their legion of fans and the club itself. Newcastle Utd is like a religion. You do not want to mess with the Toon Army. If you mess with one of them, you mess with the whole town folks. Let me give you lads an insight of my personal view when the problem started.

First, Mike Ashley. When he decided to buy over the club, there were plenty of promises and dreams he wanted to share with the fans. He even sat with the fans during home matches. Way to suck up to the fans. Then, he fired the late Sir Bobby Robson (a true Geordie) from his beloved boyhood club. How could you do that to him??? He took the club the Champions League and became a top 4 team in the BPL, NOT TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP instead!!!

Second, hiring Sam Allardyce. No disrespect to Big Sam for doing wonders with Bolton Wanderers but his style of play is not suitable to the Toon Army. His style of play was robust, target man up front, long ball and yada yada yada... One simple thing, Newcastle DO NOT play like that. They play attractive football. Remember they had Nobby Solano on the right, Laurent Robert on the left, Gary Speed at the centre with Jermaine Jenas, led by their talismanic Captain Marvel Alan Shearer, the rock solid Shay Given between the posts and the list goes on and on and on...

Third, wanting to sell the club. I don't understand why the bloody American Mike Ashley is still the owner of Newcastle Utd??? He wants to sell the club but doesn't want to accept that he may make a loss out of it. I just hope an oil tycoon like the Abu Dhabi Group or another Roman Abramovich in the making buys over the club and pump some deserved money in the club. With Ashley wanting to sell the club, it creates instability towards the team's performance. One of the bloody reason they got relegated in the first place.

Fourth, letting go Kevin Nolan. What the bloody nonsense is that??? The captain was sold to a Championship side??? WTF is that??? He's 28, at the peak of his game, just wanted another extra year from the proposed 2 year extension and he got the boot??? I'm totally on board with Hoey Barton on his remarks that all this is bullsh** and he, Jose Enrique and Jonas Gutierrez is next to leave. You have tons of money from the sale of Andy Carroll to Liverpool and all you bought was Cabaye and Marveux from Ligue 1 to bolster the squad??? Are you nuts??? I hope they get relagated next season.
